OAASS&P focuses on
establishing and nurturing friendships with the Georgia State University
community and developing links with the Atlanta community at large. Our
outreach programs include:
African American New
Student Orientation Services
OAASS&P
collaborates with INCEPT (Marketplace/Orientations), the Office of
Admissions, and the GSU Welcome Center to provide diverse orientation
services.
Coffee Hours
Black student
organizations have opportunities to gain exposure to the university
community and guest speakers, recruit new members, share ideas, showcase
past and upcoming events, and network.

Check out the Event Calendar for information about
upcoming Coffee Hours.
Forums/Receptions
Student leaders meet
with African American faculty, administrators, staff, and community leaders
to exchange resource information and develop networks.
OAASS&P
Newsletter
The office publishes
newsletters which feature highlights of OAASS&P programs, events, activities,
and ongoing services. They also provide information on special projects and
tips on how to achieve academic success.
